Cheap and Balanced Home made Meal

My sister Heather has always loved to cook!! We used to get together about once or twice a month to do freezer cooking sessions when life was a little more hectic.  We haven't done that in a long time but today I got a text message with these biscuits!!

Of course I decided I had better share this frugal idea with you all.  Here is the breakdown:
Turkey bacon: 1 pound for $1.00 on sale at Save A Lot in Trenton, MO
Eggs: 1 dozen was 93 cents from  Jamesport Country Store
Pillsbury Grands Biscuits: from Hy-Vee at 67 cents each after store sale and coupons!!

Cost per Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit 25 cents each!!! That's a lot cheaper than a fast food breakfast, or even a school lunch for your kids.  Think of all of the savings for about 45 minutes worth of prep and cooking time.  Put them in a storage container in the refrigerator and kids can grab them heat up and run out the door.
